Server Update #12

Hi again! New server update is live and has some cool stuff our server has been missing.

New Features And Fixes

• ADDED: Al De Baran Turbo Track Races!
  All modes (solo, 4 players, 8 players, 16 players), including expert ones should now be available at the Turbo Track Arena. Test your pathfinding skills (and luck) in this fun obstacle challenge and potentially receive some nice rewards.

• ADDED: Izlude PvE Arena!
  Check out these timed combat challenges for some nice prizes, Base EXP, or a chance to take a photo with your favourite mob! Only the following modes are currently available in the game:

  • Solo: Levels 50 - 69
  • Solo: Levels 60 - 79
  • Solo: Levels 70 - 89
  • Party: 5 members, Levels 10 - 99

• ADDED: New headgear quests!
  Talk to Yakima in Gonryun if you'd like to make one of these new items:

  • Lion Mask
  • Skeleton Manteau
  • Fashion Hip Sack
  • Sales Banner

• ADDED: One new Treasure Sign.
  Only one this time, sorry. Will make sure to add more later.

• ADDED: Kiel Hyre Quest
  Should be the latest eAthena version available. I only tested the first several steps, so please let me know in the Feedback Form if it breaks somewhere.

• ADDED: Geffen Bard Quest
  Should be the latest eAthena version available. I only tested the first several steps, so please let me know in the Feedback Form if it breaks somewhere.

• ADDED: Juperos History Quest
  Should be the latest eAthena version available. I only tested the first several steps, so please let me know in the Feedback Form if it breaks somewhere.

• Activated The Sign Quest on the server.
  Updated it to the latest available eAthena version. Again, only tested the first several steps, so please let me know in the Feedback Form if it breaks somewhere.

• Updated the Thanatos Tower Quest to the latest available eAthena version.
  This may break your current progress in Thanatos Tower. Let me know in the Feedback Form if you have any trouble with it after this update.

• Replaced the Umbala language lines I missed last time with "?" symbols.

• Removed the fail possibility when creating Elemental Essence at Utan Tribe Shaman in Umbala.

• Turned off the snow effect!
  Sorry that it took me so long to do this. -__-"

• Changed server time to UTC+0.
  It won't affect the WoE schedule, but is helpful for Star Gladiator players to know that I did this change.

• Increased the Mob / NPC draw distance from 14 to 18 grid cells.

• Decreased travel fee to Turtle Island down to 5,000 zeny and enabled warp memo on the Turtle Island surface map.

• Increased the skill duration for Rogue's Graffiti Skill from 3 minutes to 30 minutes.

• Increased the skill duration for Hunter's Talkie Box Skill from 10 minutes to 30 minutes.

• Removed Magni’s Cap [#5122] from mob drops until it’s fixed on the client.

• Added a Vocal mini-boss to prt_fild07 map.

• FIXED: Losing Platinum Skills when resetting skills at Reset Girl NPC.
  I've figured out that in most cases the platinum skills were lost only when you didn't get your Basic Skills to max level and logged out. The game would then save your current skills on log out without any notion of your platinum skills. I came up with a bypass solution that should fix this and save your platinum skills all the time, but make sure to let me know in the Feedback Form if you still lose them.

• FIXED: Rogue's Graffiti Skill was crashing the server.

• FIXED: Monk’s Platinum Skills Quest didn’t say what the NPC needed you to bring if you skipped the dialogue the first time.

Known Issues

• Completely broken character dye clothing palettes. Try at your own risk.
• Super Novice special gear is still broken in many ways. Don't put on Angel’s Kiss [#5125], or it will softlock your game.
